Having all the benefits of the standard Silovent Series, the fan assisted version gives ‘forced aspiration’ to negate positive pressure in the silo. This can sometimes be a requirement where it is necessary to prevent over-pressurisation of silo top ancillary equipment (explosion panels etc.).
