Any process that involves dispensing powder from a bag or sack can result in problems caused by dust, not just housekeeping issues, but serious health and environmental dangers too.

The Dustcheck Sack Tipping range provides a solution to decant the product into a process under controlled conditions to prevent dust egress into the wider production environment.

We can also include facilities for disposal of the sack/bag thereby preventing troublesome secondary dust problems. If the volume of bags being used is high, we can offer an integrated bag compactor too.

Both the bag tip unit and the compactor give the total solution – a dust free environment, 100% feed of product into the bag tipping station, efficient disposal of bags, cost saving by reducing the bag volume to the smallest possible space.

Why Dustcheck?

Our Solution

The Dustcheck Sack Tipping Filter range has evolved over 40 years and is installed in thousands of industry applications, handling a wide range of different products around the world. Our technical team are continually looking at specifications and ensuring our bag tipping stations and products are the best they can be.

Some products will be hazardous to health, some will be toxic, and others may be explosive. Whatever your product we will have a solution that will suit your process. We can also select a specific media (material) to ensure it can handle the characteristics of your dust (be it fine, sticky, dense, heavy, etc.).

For applications where there are multiple tipping points, or where it is not conducive to have a close coupled filter in the sack tip (cross contamination issues, etc.) we can provide a tipping hood that can be ducted to a standalone dust control system.

Material to suit the job

Our filters are designed to meet the needs of most processes. Each Filter Unit can be adapted in size to fit the planning-in space you have available. Our Filters are designed and built by us (and only us) meaning we can offer an array of materials and finishes to meet your needs. Construction can be in rugged, painted carbon steel or we offer all grades of stainless steel; with different finishes and a crack and crevice free option available on request.

Our filters can utilise both bag and cartridge type filter elements. Dependent on the application requirement we can offer both types in a range of formats, be that tubular sock, flat pad, deep or shallow, open pleat cartridge.

Our Cartridge elements offer advantages of compact design, higher efficiency and have a higher surface area per element compared with bag filters. The cartridge element fixing method also makes for faster and easier maintenance.

Cartridge elements allow us to design much more compact machines – offering savings of up to 50% in footprint area. This can be a significant advantage in congested production environments.

Each type of filter element has its own strengths and we would work with you to ensure the correct solution.

Save on ‘whole of life’ costs

Dustcheck’s products save you money, energy and time. Our efficient filters will help cut down on housekeeping tasks as your workspace will be dust free. Our Differential Pressure Controllers can automatically select when filters are cleaned to save you money on compressed air usage and their design makes maintenance hassle free and fast – saving you production time and saving you money.
