Dustcheck's parent company, Filtermist Limited, will be heading to the NEC from 24th-26th April for Foodex 2023 to showcase its products and services for LEV extraction from its Dust and Fume division on stand J91.
Products on show will include the Dustcheck AirGuard Compact Dust Collector – a unit that was recently redesigned with the food market in mind.
AirGuard is a compact and versatile automatic reverse jet cleaned range of dust collectors designed to capture and remove airborne particulates from a bulk handling process. The range is capable of handling high dust loads and offers significant environmental and technical advantages compared to conventional filter systems. The ledge-free, circular design provides hygienic capture and filtration of particulates, and the inherent strength of the circular design also makes this range ideal for high vacuum pressure systems and is available as ATEX certified versions.
“Filters from the Dustcheck brand, which became part of our portfolio back in 2017, are used in a wide range of food processing applications – both by end users and OEMs which incorporate filters into their production lines. According to the HSE, exposure to flour dust is the second highest cause of occupational asthma in the UK, but risks can be significantly reduced by using effective control measures,” said Lydia Barber – Director of Group Marketing at Filtermist.
Other products that will be showcased include two brand new products from the Kerstar range – the KEVA Premium CBS (continuous bagging system) and the Keva Premium 50L (50 litre drop down collection container).
The new models include patented filter cleaning technology for the safe and efficient collection of hazardous dust, debris and workplace particles that pose a health and safety risk to employees. Regarded as the perfect all-rounder for your manufacturing facility, the new modular KEVA Premium series is ATEX certified, making it ideal for applications in the food processing industry.
